John Toone never envisioned the response he would get from young people and educators alike asking for a reading of his two new youth angling books.
The two comic style books are titled "hope and the walleye" and "catch that catfish". These two copies can be found on the best seller table at the McNally Winnipeg locations since they currently are in the top five bestsellers under the "Books for Young People" section.
Toone and illustrator G.M.B.Chomichuk hosted a reading and fun day for young people at McNally Robinsons' Polo Park store on Sunday recently . There were prizes and all kinds of fun events for the young people in the audience including an
appearance by "Freddie the Fish".
